Here is a brief in preparation for being a guest on our podcast.

Leaders and Managers Hub – The Podcast

Leaders and Managers Hub is a community and safe space where Leaders and Managers and those who aspire to Leadership and Management positions, can engage with people to share best practice and promote effective behaviours.

Leaders and Managers Hub – The Podcast is a mix of topical discussions and interviews/tutorials/informationpieces with Oana Noia (our Host/Producer) and guests

With an audience that is on every continent (except Antarctica but we are working on it) we appeal to people curious about themselves and the human condition in an effort to be more effective leaders.

Our conversations are unscripted and emergent i.e. we will have a loose framework structure and the conversation goes where it goes.

Our Process

Pre-Production

Before we record we engage in a conversation with our potential guest to get a flavour for their topics, their cadence and to formulate how we might go about the topic structuring. It is also an opportunity for guests to ask questions about us and our process. This initial conversation can be in person or via Zoom and takes 30-45 minutes.

Recording

Recording is in person via Zoom at a pre-agreed time. An average conversation takes about 1 hour plus 15 minutes to allow for preamble.

Our general structure is usually:

• Guest Introduction – One or two sentences on who you are and what you do (We record this at the beginning)
• Intro Music – Added in Post-Production
• Guest back story – as much or as little as you are comfortable to share. How you came to where you are in this space and at this time
• The here and now – Your theories/products and services/book etc with thoughts and examination of these and how they can relate to our audience
• Where you are going – where will your theories/products and services/book take you
• How can people access you and your content/product/service/book
• Close
• Outro Music – Added in Post-Production

Post-Production

Once the recording is edited our guests are sent a copy for review and, once the edit is agreed, upon release our guests are gifted a copy of the final edit for their records along with links to the release on the Campion Consultants website.

If the recording is conducted via Zoom we do so with cameras on to enhance the relational experience. We do not save, edit or in any way use the video. However if a guest wants to use the video for their professional use we will pin their screen for the recording and send them an unedited mp4 video file. This can then be used, after the audio release dates, on their social media platforms. The request for use of video must be made prior to recording.

Preparation and Requirements

We request that guests try to create a calm and quiet environment for the recording with a good quality microphone. This reduces the editing effort and enhances the listening. We can test this prior to recording.

For the show release we would ask for:

• A short biography (4-5 sentences)
• Links to social media, websites etc
• Published titles
• A photo or avatar in jpeg format and a minimum of 650×650 pixels
